Comic Art Europe: the global exhibition in pictures
The global Comic Art Europe exhibition has opened its doors in the Comics Art Museum in Brussels. Three years of hard work hangs proudly on the museum walls and waits for visitors to come and explore it.
Artists Filipa Beleza and James Albon were present on the opening night of the exhibit. They were so excited to discover their work, hanging on the walls. “Comic Art Europe: Ten emerging comic artists from Europe” shows ten very different artists and pieces of art. You can discover the hidden universe of Marine des Mazery (France) by putting on red glasses and you’ll see a blue universe emerge. Get to know the path of an autistic woman in the book Invisible Shade by Štěpánka Jislová (Czech Republic), try not to laugh at the witty cartoons of Filipa Beleza (Portugal) or dive into James Albon’s love language (United Kingdom). Such a diverse range of works.
