For the past three years, we embarked on a comics journey and you joined us on our ride. Thank you for following our project and for supporting us. Now, after three wonderful years, the Comic Art Europe (CAE) project comes to its end. The aim of the project has been to examine the potential for exchange and capacity building across the European comics sector. Four organisations collaborated – Escola Joso in Barcelona, The Belgian Comic Strip Centre (BCSC) in Brussels, Lyon BD Organisation in France and the Lakes International Comic Art Festival (LICAF) in the UK – across several strands of work, including training, residencies, dissemination and research. It has been a wonderful and successful journey. New European adventures await. Keep track of our new project by following our social media channels.
For now, we’d like to summarize our three year project in one retrospective video. Enjoy!
