It is now time to present to you the eight jury members in charge of examining the 200 applications received after our Open Call for comics projects.
As announced a few days ago, it is no less than 200 applications from 32 countries that were received after our Open Call for Comics projects!
It is now time for our jury members to immerse themselves in these candidacies while we present them to you:

> Julie Tait: director of the Lakes International Comic Art Festival (UK)
> Isabelle Debekker: director of the Belgian Comic Strip Centre (BE)
> Jordi Sempere: teacher at Escola Joso and comic artist (SP)
> Juan Carlos Concha: director of Barcelona Non Stop Animation Festival (SP)
> Marie-Eve Tossani: letter and book attaché within Wallonie-Bruxelles International (BE)
> Marion Glénat: director of the youth and audiovisual department at Editions Glénat (FR)
> Charlie Adlard: comic artist (The Walking Dead) (UK)
Let them work and rendezvous for the results on March 8th 2021!

One of Comic Art Europe’s goal is to research the impact of comics on literacy throughout workshops opened to different communities.
We are keen to present to you each of the comics creatives who won one of the 5 artist residencies.
We received no less than 200 applications from 32 countries. It is a great success for the Comic Art Europe project’s first steps.
